This wild confluence of visual and musical artists should be worth the trip to Philly. Opera, pop, funk, and blues collide against a backdrop of Philadelphia street art at the Kimmel Center. A set from DJ Omar Saleem kicks off the evening before East Passyunk Opera Project’s Jesus Garcia and Katrina Thurman join boom-bap jazz masters Mobbluz for a one-of-a-kind musical experience. And it’s all set amid an interactive installation from artist K.C. Grummun.
